St. Vincent Hospital’s Emergency/Trauma Center Wisconsin’s busiest emergency center outside of Milwaukee—for good reason. The Center is well staffed with board-certified ER physicians, an in-house trauma surgical team, certified emergency nurses, and other specialists on call at a moment’s notice.

The Regional Emergency and Trauma Center team carries the mission and values engrained in St. Vincent Hospital-providing patient-focused, quality care is first and foremost. 

Our patient and family care program is structured around dignity and respect, information sharing, participation and teamwork because we understand medical emergencies affect not only the patient, but his or her family as well.  The structure of our program places Emergency Center nurses in continual communication with the family-acting as a liaison between the patient, family and the medical team, keeping all parties involved apprised of the patient's medical situation.  We know this reduces the patient's concern for their loved ones and allows him or her to focus on healing.
