Emergency/Trauma CenterServices
When seconds count, you can count on St. Vincent Hospital's Regional Emergency Center to provide the treatment needed.

• 24-hour availability of ER/Trauma services. Verified as a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.
• Transport critical patients via ground or helicopter via EAGLE III.
• Board certified, residency-trained emergency physicians.
• Entire emergency nursing staff holds Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nurse Core Certification, Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification and many have Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Certification in Emergency Nursing.
• Immediate availability and activation of Trauma/Neuro surgeons.
• Trauma case manager coordinates all care.
• Trauma surgical team in-house; other specialists on call.
• Expert care for critically injured trauma.
• Trained in administering thrombolytic therapies – current "door-to-drug" time is lower than national average.
• Access to advanced cardiac technology for definitive care.
• Advanced diagnostic services including CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, sonography, angiography, EEG, ECG and EMG.

The St. Vincent Regional Emergency Center is Wisconsin's busiest emergency center outside of Milwaukee. The emergency center team annually provides emergency and trauma services for more than 42,000 patients from throughout Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. That number includes more than 700 seriously or critically injured trauma patients.
