The Emergency Center team annually provides emergency and trauma services for more than 42,000 patients from throughout Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. That number includes more than 700 seriously or critically injured trauma patients. 


Our Expert Emergency/Trauma Team Includes:
• Board certified, residency-trained emergency physicians
• An entire emergency nursing staff that holds Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification, Trauma Nurse Core Certification, Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification, plus many have Pediatric Advanced Life Support as well as Certification in Emergency Nursing
• Immediate availability and activation of Trauma/Neurosurgeons
• A trauma case manager who coordinates all care
• In-house Trauma surgical team; other specialists on call
• Professionals trained in administering thrombolytic (clot busting) therapies—current "door-to-drug" time is lower than national average
