FirstCare

Come in "unannounced" When you walk into FIRSTCARE at St. Mary's Medical Center or St. Vincent Hospital
you do just that, you walk in! No phone call or appointment is necessary. FIRSTCARE is open 24 hours for minor injuries and illnesses reguiring immediate medical care.

To assist you there are 24 hour 7 day a week valets at the Emergency and First Care entrance.

A nurse will be there to greet you, assess you chief complaint, do vital signs and have one of the technicians bring you back to a room

The rooms have many comforts, including a TV while you wait. A registrar will come to your room and register you.

Advanced technology of digital images of your injury, so you no longer have to wait for films to be processed, the images are ready by the time you are back in your room.

Radiology Techs are right in the department waiting to take your Xray, these rooms are within the department so you do not have to wait for tests.

The team of extremely qualified doctors, nurses and techs are here to treat your injury or illness.

Each patient will receive personalized discharge instructions which will be reviewed by a nurse.
