The Neuro ICU (4ICU) is an eight bed unit and
is the first dedicated and longest standing Neuro ICU in the
State of Wisconsin.
St. Vincent hospital is the first Certified Primary Stroke Center in
the Green Bay area. Using a patient and family centered approach, the
nurses provide care for complex multiple trauma patients, patients with
neurological disorders, brain tumors, cerebrovascular accidents, spinal
cord injuries, and other illnesses.
The staff is a part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals including
Intensivists, Hospitalists, Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Dietitians,
Case Managers, Pharmacists, Respiratory Therapists, Pastoral Care, and
others.
The nurses in 4ICU genuinely care for the patients physical, emotional,
and spiritual needs and for their families.
