be the Super Bowl in action and play-by-play.” Al,

- “Our patients are sometimes diagnosed with devastating
diseases and go through difficult treatments. As a nurse
on 9th floor, I feel it is a privilege to be part of our patient’s
care, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. I
feel our floor is unique due to the patients we care for. Our
staff is also unique in that we greatly support and care for
each other.” Ginger, RN for 2 years.

for providing quality care to patients. I enjoy the ubiquitous
challenges and find my job rewarding in every facet.” Mandee,
RN for 3 years.
- “I love working on 9th floor because of the camaraderie
with my co-workers and the close relationships I develop with
long-term and reccurring patients.” Risa, RN for
22 years.
- “What I enjoy about 9th floor are the people-both coworkers
and patients. I enjoy the opportunity to learn in a field
where “what we know” continually changes. There
are always new challenges and nothing is routine. I gain
satisfaction in providing resources to nurses, so that they
can provide excellent care for the patients.” Zona
Akbari, RN Director 9th Floor.
