Provides strategic leadership for nursing at St. Vincent Hospital and elevates performance across the hospital services by strengthening leadership and empowering the staff nurse to develop and execute their professional practice.

1. Clinical Care Council
A practice driven team providing opportunity for discussion, referral, and decision-making regarding practice and patient care issues. The organizational goal is to empower the members to carry out their decisions related to defining, promoting, and evaluating nursing practice.

The objectives include:
1. Identify issues relating to patient care and clinical practice.
2. Develop strategies to resolve issues, make decisions and
support the implementation of process change.
3. Facilitate open discussion with all disciplines to drive clinical
outcome improvement.
4. Improve the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes through
evidence based practice.
5. Assure consistent nursing practice and standardization.
