After baby's birth
Bed, Breakfast and Baby
Bed, Breakfast and Baby is a program designed
to give you and your baby an extra day to rest and recuperate before
going home. For a fee, you will receive an extra night's stay in
a private room in the hospital, meals for you and the baby's father,
bed linens and the comfort of knowing professionals are near. Your
baby stays in your room and you will be responsible for your baby's
care, but nurses always are available to help and to answer any
questions. Bed, Breakfast and Baby is based on room availability.
Home Health Program
For some new moms,
a home health visit is helpful. If your doctors feels it would
be helpful, he/she may prescribe one or more home visits. A nurse
from the Birthing Center will make the visit.
